RISING STAR PAGEANT
Join us for our 1st annual Rising Star Pageant! We are excited to put on this amazing fun pageant for differently abled people of all ages and genders! It will be held at Union Mine High School theater on October 5, 2024!
In partnership with the Miss El Dorado County Scholarship Pageant Program, please join us in supporting our first annual Rising Star Pageant of El Dorado County, a celebration of diversity, empowerment, and inclusivity. This exciting event for children & adults is dedicated to showcasing the beauty, talent, and resilience of individuals with disabilities. It includes a cohesive dance by the contestants, a fashion competition, and formal wear competition. In addition to supporting these individuals & their families, the event will garner funds for two local non-profit organizations that support El Dorado County. Exhilaration Station Family Resource Center aims to strengthen ALL families with ALL abilities by enhancing protective factors and reducing child abuse and neglect (neurodevelopmental trauma) through inclusive and equitable educational play, classes, celebrations, and resources. We are the only family resource center on the Western Slope of El Dorado County. Allison’s AACs is dedicated to providing augmentative and alternative communication devices for non-speaking individuals who cannot afford or do not qualify for aid in receiving an AAC.​
